TRASHed Tijuana

Twenty artists from Tijuana and Southern California will be showing their redesigned trash cans as part of the art-meets-recycling project, TRASHed Tijuana. The trash can pictured here is adorned with the work of San Diego artist Kelly Hutchison.

This collection of trash cans will make its first public appearance at We Are All Tijuana/Tijuana Somos Todos on Sept. 24-25, 2010 at the “El Trompo” Interactive Museum in Tijuana.

The cans will eventually cross the border into the United States in October 2010 for a series of gallery showings in San Diego and Los Angeles. Contact TRASHed@globalinheritance.org for more info.
