Tijuana in Beijing

According to Tijuana artist Daniel Ruanova, Tijuana art will be making the trip overseas to Beijing.

“The project is an office-workshop-project space that we’ll setup in Beijing from January till June for the first stage of this pseudo Tj consulate that only shows (ain´t no point of purchase! yet) art from, about or for TJ,” wrote Ruanova in an email.
Above is an open call for Tijuanense artists to submit project, old and new, to be considered.  The mock Tijuana consulate in Beijing will feature three group shows, Tijuastilo I, II and III, that showcase nine of the most influential artist in
contemporary Tijuana.
